Functional Cardiology
At Dr. Giovanni Campanile’s practice, we specialize in functional cardiology, which focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of heart disease. We take a holistic and integrative approach to treating heart conditions, considering not only the physical aspects but also the impact of lifestyle, nutrition, and environmental factors on heart health.
Our comprehensive approach includes advanced lipid testing to assess your cholesterol levels and identify any underlying issues. We also utilize advanced imaging techniques, such as CT Scan with AI Overread, to obtain detailed images of your heart and detect any abnormalities.
In collaboration with Boston Heart, we offer the Advanced Panel, a comprehensive test that provides insights into your cardiovascular health by analyzing various biomarkers. This allows us to tailor our treatment plans to your specific needs.
We also assess body composition to understand how factors like weight and muscle mass affect your heart health. By taking a holistic view of your overall well-being, we can develop personalized strategies for improving your cardiac wellness.
Integrative Cardiology
Integrative cardiology combines traditional cardiology practices with evidence-based complementary therapies to optimize heart health. Dr. Campanile believes in the power of integrating nutrition, lifestyle changes, and alternative therapies into his treatment plans.
As the Director of Integrative Nutrition at The Chambers Center for Well-Being, Dr. Campanile has witnessed firsthand the positive impact of nutrition on cardiovascular well-being. He incorporates nutritional counseling into his practice to help patients make informed choices that support their heart health.
By addressing the root causes of heart disease through integrative cardiology, we aim to provide comprehensive care that goes beyond symptom management. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools necessary for long-term heart health.
Jamaica: A Unique Geographical Setting
Jamaica, located in the Caribbean Sea, is a vibrant island known for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The island is home to breathtaking landmarks such as Dunn’s River Falls, Blue Mountains, and Negril’s Seven Mile Beach.

The warm weather and abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables provide opportunities for a healthy lifestyle. Regular physical activity, such as swimming or hiking in the mountains, can contribute to cardiovascular fitness.
