Functional Cardiology

At our practice in Reykjavík, we specialize in functional cardiology. This approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of heart disease, rather than just treating the symptoms. By understanding the unique factors that contribute to each patient’s heart health, we can develop personalized treatment plans that promote long-term wellness.

Integrative Cardiology

Integrative cardiology combines the best of conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies. We believe in a holistic approach to heart health, considering not only the physical aspects but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of our patients. By integrating various modalities, such as nutrition, stress management, and mind-body techniques, we aim to optimize cardiovascular health.

Holistic Cardiology

In holistic cardiology, we recognize that the heart is interconnected with other systems in the body. We take a comprehensive approach to cardiac wellness by addressing not only the heart itself but also factors such as nutrition, lifestyle choices, environmental influences, and emotional well-being. By considering the whole person, we can provide more effective and sustainable solutions for heart health.

Naturopathic Cardiology

Naturopathic cardiology embraces natural therapies and treatments to support heart health. We utilize evidence-based botanical medicine, nutritional supplements, lifestyle modifications, and other natural interventions to complement conventional medical approaches. Our goal is to enhance cardiovascular well-being while minimizing side effects and promoting overall vitality.

Preventative Cardiology

Preventative cardiology focuses on identifying risk factors for heart disease before they lead to serious complications. Through advanced lipid testing and imaging techniques, we can assess your cardiovascular health and develop personalized strategies to prevent or manage conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to maintain a healthy heart for life.

Nutritional Cardiology

Nutrition plays a crucial role in heart health. Our practice emphasizes the importance of a heart-healthy diet and offers comprehensive nutritional assessments and counseling. We believe that food is medicine, and by making informed dietary choices, you can optimize your cardiovascular well-being. Our team will work closely with you to develop a personalized nutrition plan that supports your heart health goals.

Reversal of Heart Disease

Through our comprehensive approach to cardiac care, we aim to reverse the progression of heart disease. By addressing the underlying causes and implementing lifestyle changes, we can help you improve your heart health and potentially reduce or eliminate the need for medication or invasive procedures. Our goal is to empower you to take control of your heart health and live a vibrant, fulfilling life.
